Interim Managing Producer / Editorial Manager, WORLD Chris oversees content and staff for WORLD’s web and broadcast elements. He also leads the WGBH Lab, an innovative incubator for new short form video as producer and Project Director — and also serves as Post Production Producer for Boston Media Productions, WGBH’s local television unit. In Chris’s key roles at WGBH, he’s been charged with inventing new ways of creating high quality media at low cost and distributing that content on all platforms. Chris’s accomplishments over the past three years have included three regional Emmys for the WGBH LAB Open Call program. He’s also an accomplished speaker, having presented at various conferences, including Integrated Media Association (IMA), MiT5 at MIT, and The Achievement Gap Initiative at Harvard University. Chris' background in public media includes a stint on the children's television show ZOOM and various projects with WGBH's Educational Productions. His roots in media began in Washington, DC, where he was the Associate Producer for Black Entertainment Television's BET Tonight with Tavis Smiley.
